The Conover Lions Club will host its 60th Winter Frolic this Sunday, Feb. 10, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Conover Town Park, located one block east of Highway 45 on Highway K in Conover.

The event will feature sled, toboggan, tube and saucer races on the hill in the park. The competition begins at 1 p.m. and awards will be given in every age group.

Everyone is welcome to take their own sledding equipment. Uphill towing will be provided again by the Conover Sno-Buddies snowmobile club’s trail groomer and special sleds designed to safely transport participants and their equipment to the top of the hill.

The club also will have raffles for the adults. Food and beverages will be sold in the park’s heated indoor shelter.

Everyone is welcome to attend the Winter Frolic, which is a major fundraiser for the Conover Lions Club.
