Hillbilly Hollow in Eagle River will be taking in-store and online orders for eight of its best-selling pizza combinations to help raise money for Feed Our Rural Kids Inc. (FORK), now through this Friday, Feb. 26.

“Who doesn’t love a good pizza and at Hillbilly Hollow we make flavorful take-and-bake pizzas," said Kathy Martin, owner of Hillbilly Hollow at 708 E.Wall St. 

“All 12-inch pizzas are priced at $15.25 with $3 then donated to support FORK programs, including Fork Cares, Meals Now, Jump Start and the Formula Support Program,” said Martin.

Individuals can order their pizza and pay online at hillbillyhollowspecialevents.

com; stop into Hillbilly Hollow to place an order; or call to order and pay at (715) 477-2771.

Pick up for all pizzas will be Saturday, March 6, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the store. 

“We appreciate the chance to again work with Kathy and her crew,” said Perry Pokrandt, president of FORK. “There is nothing more powerful than when the community steps up in support of their kids.”

Pokrandt said people are reminded to order their take-and-bake pizzas by this Friday.

“The pizzas are made with our own secret recipe homemade crusts and sauces,” said Martin. “How much tastier does it get than that?”

FORK is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide nutritional support to children from food insecure homes across eastern and central Vilas County. Individuals wishing to donate directly to FORK can do so at feedourruralkids.org/donate; or they can drop off a donation when they pick up their pizzas at Hillbilly Hollow.
