Friendship House Family Restaurant in Eagle River will host a spaghetti fundraiser for the Warm The Children (WTC) program Wednesday, Dec. 12, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The cost will be $7.99 for adults and $4.99 for children 10 years of age and younger and will include a choice of soup or salad.

This is the eighth year the restaurant is hosting what has been a very well-attended fundraiser.

“The entire price of each dinner will be donated to Warm The Children,” said Dash Shabani, restaurant manager.

WTC is a program that serves Vilas County and the Three Lakes and Sugar Camp areas of Oneida County by providing new, warm winter clothing to approximately 575 children in need, age newborn through 17.

“We are especially grateful to Dash for his generosity in donating revenue on this evening,” said Jacki Risjord, program coordinator.

“Please come out next Wednesday evening and support WTC, helping us reach our goal, and enjoy a delicious spaghetti dinner,” added Risjord.

Donations to date have reached 78% of the 2018 fundraising goal, according to Risjord.
