The Sno-Eagles Snowmobile Club of Eagle River will conduct its March membership meeting Thursday, March 16, at Eagle Waters Resort.
Eagle Waters is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day dinner buffet to benefit the Sno-Eagles from 4:30 to 8 p.m. The menu will feature corned beef, cabbage, Rueben casserole, shepherd’s pie, bratwurst, potatoes, vegetables, Irish soda bread, rye bread, and dessert. Cost is $25 per person with $10 per person going to the Sno-Eagles. Reservations are preferred and can be made by calling 715-479-4411.
The meeting will begin with a social gathering at 6:30 p.m. with appetizers and beverages, followed by the business portion of the meeting getting underway at 7 p.m.
The agenda will include introductions; the trail report including grooming operations, equipment, and building maintenance; club fundraising activities; volunteer report; Junior Sno-Eagles program; club activities; membership report; the election of officers and directors; and the Volunteer of the Year and Groomer Operator of the Year awards. Open discussion will follow.
The meeting will close with a 50-50 drawing.
The Sno-Eagles support the school food backpack program monetarily. The club’s portion of the 50-50 drawing will be donated to this program in lieu of food items.
Club membership affords the opportunity to purchase required Wisconsin snowmobile trail passes at a discounted rate through the Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs.
The meeting is open to everyone and potential members are welcome to attend. The meeting also will be live-streamed on the Sno-Eagles Facebook page.
Eagle Waters Resort is located at 3958 Eagle Waters Road in Eagle River.
