The 15th annual Taste of Conover will take place Sunday, June 26, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Conover Town Park.
The event provides the opportunity to taste portions of a variety of food items from area restaurants and taverns.
Different selections of food will be served, including appetizers such as pretzel bites with smokehouse dip and Caesar salad; and main courses such as tacos, smoked meats, pork spiedini, Italian beef sandwiches and club sandwiches.
Sides of risotto and corn on the cob will be available and on the sweet side will include cream puffs, root beer floats and bananas foster. Popular snacks for youth visitors will be sno-cones, popcorn and nachos. Beverages will include soda, water, beer and wine.
Admission to the park grounds and parking is free.
Tickets for food and beverages will be available in $1 increments.
In addition to the food offerings, music will entertain visitors of all ages while children may enjoy the bounce house. Community service groups and trail clubs will be on hand to provide information about their upcoming events, recreational opportunities, fundraisers and more.
The Conover Chamber of Commerce reminds attendees that pets are not allowed in the park during events per town of Conover ordinance.
