Donations to Warm The Children, a program sponsored by the Vilas County News-Review under the auspices of the Eagle River Rotary Foundation to provide winter clothing for children in need, have now reached 86% toward the 2019 fundraising goal of $80,000, according to program coordinator Toni Ruthven.

“We have sent out vouchers for approximately 450 children this year,” said Ruthven. “There are still three shopping weeks.” Applications are still being accepted at the News-Review.
