Pines coach Terry Klemett had praise for his four all-conference players.
“These guys really came in and worked hard,” said Klemett. “A.J., Jon and Cody did what seniors do. They all upped their game from last year on both sides of the ball and Mylo really has turned himself into one of the top players in the conference. I am happy for all four of them as they represented our school and program well. It was very well deserved.”
Joining Albrecht on the first team were Medford senior Charlie Gierl, Rhinelander senior Truman Lamers, Mosinee junior Treve Stoffel and Mosinee sophomore Brayden Reinke. Gierl and Reinke were GNC Co-Players of the Year and also were unanimous selections. Reinke led the GNC in scoring with 214 points in 11 games, averaging 19.5 per game.
