Registration opens for Oneida ADRC healthy living workshop

Registration is open for a Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body workshop hosted by the Oneida County Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) on Tuesday, Jan. 21, from 1 - 2:30 p.m.
This workshop, offered through the Alzheimer’s Association ©, covers seven areas of lifestyle habits that are associated with healthy aging:
• Sleep
• Smoking
• Mental health

• Cognitive activity
• Physical health and exercise
• Diet and nutrition
• Social engagement
In each area, the workshop will discuss what is known and what can be done about Alzheimer’s, drawing on current research, to improve or maintain overall health in each area. This program is designed for individuals of any age who are looking for information on ways to age as well as possible.
