Marcia Rondello
Marcia Adele Regent Rondello, age 92, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025, at Careview Health and Rehab Center in Minocqua, Wis.
Marcia was born March 28, 1932, to Kenneth and Althea Regent, Riverhead, New York. She studied art in Paris, France and earned her teaching degree in Buffalo, New York.
Marcia married Ignace “Jack” Rondello in 1957, and bought a home in Margate, Florida. They moved to Eagle River, Wis. seasonally in 1958, and full time in 1970. She taught art education at Eagle River Grade School, and later, was employed by Rhinelander Catholic Central. She retired shortly after husband Jack passed away in 1992.
Marcia enjoyed playing pool, line dancing, cross-country skiing, photography, good music, making art and painting, exploring the outdoors, playing games with family, especially dominoes, and having fun with good friends. She loved to dress up, and always wore her favorite jewelry, right up until her passing.
Marcia Rondello is survived by her sister, Donna, of New Limerick, Maine; children, Pete (Elizabeth) Rondello, Louise (Tony) Halek, Dan (Charmaine Winters) Rondello; grandchildren, Angela Maki, Peter Rondello II, Alix Hughes, Sydney Hayashi, Christopher Hayashi; and great-grandchildren, Madison Rondello and Lucy Hughes.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 105 First Street, Eagle River, WI.
