Thomas "Tom" Goehe
Thomas J. Goehe, affectionately known as Tom, age 67, of Watersmeet, Mich., passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, March 1, 2025, after a short but courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on June 3, 1957, in Rhinelander, Wis. Tom was the middle child of Carl (Phyllis) Goehe and grew up in Eagle River, where he became a well-known figure in the community. Throughout his life, he owned various successful businesses, most notably his Polaris dealership called “Trailbusters,” which thrived for many years due to dedication and passion for snowmobiles and racing.
Tom was a man of many hobbies, with a love for trapping, fishing, and hunting. However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially during camping trips. He cherished his three children and eight grandchildren, whom he loved with all his heart.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Michelle; his sons, Thomas” TC” (Lauren) and Beau (Tricia); his daughter, Laurin (Colton) Borowski; and eight grandchildren, Charlie, Natalie, Mckenzie, Legend, Landon, Abbi, Letty and Jade.
A celebration of life held in Tom’s honor will be held May 3, 2025, at the Gateway Lodge in Land O’ Lakes from 1-3 p.m. Family and Friends are invited to join in on remembering a remarkable man who touched the lives of so many.
