Upton F. Becker, age 74, of Eagle River, Wis., died on April 9, 2023, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, Wis.
He was born in Port Washington, Wis., on July 12, 1948, to Upton C. and Mary (née Buettner) Becker.
Upton graduated from UW-La Crosse and served in the U.S. Army in the 196th Brigade, 23rd Infantry Division during the Vietnam War.
He worked as a maintenance man, over-the-road truck driver and government safety inspector.
Upton is survived by his nieces and nephews, Leann Becker of Tampa, Fla., Robert (Cara) Becker of Belgium, Wis., Randy (Tobie) Johnson of Kewaskum, Wis., and Amy Maurer of West Bend, Wis.; great-nieces and nephews, Haiden, Tyson, Brock, Dane, Dylan, Zoey, Garrett (Shelby) Maurer and Devan (Tom) Shepherd; and many friends around the country.
