The Phelps Congregational Church will host its traditional Hunters Dinner on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 5 p.m., marking a long-standing celebration of the deer season’s opening.
The family-style meal features meatballs, potatoes and gravy, vegetables, coleslaw, cranberry sauce, bread, pickles and homemade pies.
Suggested donations are $15 for adults, $12 for children ages 5 to 12, and free for kids under five. Carryout options will be available. All are welcome.
The church is located at 2303 Highway 17 in Phelps.
