Donald Schiesl
Donald G. Schiesl, of Eagle River, age 88, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Don's greatest love was family. Don was a kind, loving, and generous man always ready to lend a helping hand.
Don loved all sports and was an avid Packer fan who loved to tailgate with his friends. He loved fishing, and his trips to Canada with family and friends were one of his greatest joys.
A dedicated and proud Marine, he served in the Korean war and proudly supported the military throughout his life. Don was the owner of Ewert and Schiesl in Manitowac and sold this in 1975, before moving to St. Germain where he bought Woodland Auto. Now he could hunt, fish and Snowmobile all he wanted. In the early 1980's Don switched careers and sold Insurance as the Metropolitan District Manager for NE Wisconsin until he retired.
