Hometown driver Ryan Glembin led every lap of the IMCA stock car feature yesterday at Eagle River Speedway. The race showcased a field of all Eagle River drivers as Glembin picked up his first IMCA feature win of the year at the Speedway.
Other finishers included Eagle River’s Jonathan Miller in second, followed by Jason Zdroik in third, Dustin White and Trentin Bell.
Glembin outpaced Miller, who also started in the front row for the feature.
Other Speedway feature winners throughout the night included Stockholm’s Lucas Peterson, who grabbed the lead halfway through the late-model feature and cruised to victory. David Blackberg dodged many cautions in the street stock feature and beat out Rhinelander’s Hope Eisel and Jeremy Joslin.
Minnesota’s Tyler Pelofske won the 600 micro sprint feature under caution-free conditions.
Addison Dishaw led wire-to-wire to win the Pro 300 micro sprint feature, while Beaver Dam visitor Kaides Coombes scored the Semi-Pro 300 victory.
The B-Mod and Pure Stock features were canceled due to the rain.
Eagle River Speedway action picks up again next Tuesday, July 22, with regular scheduled racing with the regular classes. The next theme night is set for Tuesday, July 29, which is the Kids Coin and Candy Drop.
