House deemed total loss in early-morning fire

A home in the Town of Cloverland was deemed a total loss after an early morning fire on Dec. 4, but no injuries were reported in the blaze.

According to a press release issued by Vilas County Sheriff’s Office, Vilas County 911 Center received a call at 4:28 a.m. on Dec. 4 from a homeowner at 1858 Towering Oaks Lane reporting the fire.

They were awakened by a fire in the attached garage of the residence. Upon arrival of emergency responders, the home was fully engulfed.

Responding to the scene were Eagle River Fire Department, Conover Fire Department, Plum Lake Fire Department, St. Germain Fire Department, Three Lakes Fire Department, Aspirus Eagle River Ambulance, Wisconsin Public Service, Vilas County Highway Department, and the Vilas County Sheriff’s Office.
