James “Jim” Mulleady

James “Jim” Mulleady died at his home in St. Germain.  He was 86.
Mr. Mulleady grew up in Minneapolis. He married his wife Maxine, they were married for 68 years.  


Mr. Mulleady and Max moved to Wisconsin in 1971.  They purchased Idle Hours Resort in St. Germain. In the early 1980’s he started his own real estate company.  He formed Coldwell Banker Mulleady REALTORS in 1983 and the business grew.


Mr. Mulleady enjoyed golf, traveling, boating, and snowmobiling. He was a member of the Minocqua Country Club, Lakeland Rotary, Lions, St. Germain Bo-Boen Snowmobile Club.  He was also past President of the Greater Northwoods MLS and member of the Wisconsin Realtors Association.


He is survived by two sisters, Sharon (Wesley) Peacock, Susan (Dr. Peter) Menghini; two brothers, Thomas (Michelle) Mulleady, Mark (Linda) Mulleady; two sons, Michael (Stephanie) Mulleady, Jim (Mary) Mulleady and one daughter Lynn (Kelly) Bax; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.


Memorial Gathering for Jim will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Shepherd of Lakes Lutheran Church in Sayner from 10:00-11:00 a.m. with Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m.
