The athletic hirings at Northland Pines High School remained active last week, as both the Northland Pines hockey programs saw changes for the head coaching positions. This time, the Northland Pines girls’ hockey team welcomed Jennifer Chiamulera as the new head coach of the Eagles’ Co-op.
Chiamulera is familiar with the program after she served as an assistant coach last year with the team that advanced to the sectional final. Outside of that, Chiamulera also brings more than 15 years of experience in youth engagement, leadership development and team bonding to the program. She has also coached various age groups in hockey.
“I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to lead as the head coach,” she said. “I believe strongly in our players, our families and what this program can become.”
New Northland Pines Activities Director Steve Walsh said he is looking forward to the opportunity to see what Chiamulera can do with the program. He is excited for the future.
“Jennifer is energetic and dedicated to the needs of the program, which will develop a positive team culture,” stated Walsh. “Jennifer has a strong hockey background and energy to take Pines hockey to the next level with her vision of the program.”
