Jerry Greatsinger
Jerry Greatsinger, of Eagle River, beloved husband and father, died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 29, 2026. He was 71.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary Greatsinger; his daughter, Angie Great-singer, and her fiancé, Lepolean Pickens; his son, Derek Greatsinger; his seven grandchildren, Trevyn, Kycen, Asher, Xander, Sieara, Sophia, Dezmond; and one great-grandchild, all of whom he loved dearly. He is also survived by a sister; two brothers; and many extended family, and friends.
Jerry was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Earle Great-singer and Charlotte Hanson; and a brother, Dennis.
Jerry was an avid golfer in his later years, and he was passionate about practicing his swing. He made many wonderful memories with his friends out on the golf course. Jerry loved watching and playing all sports his entire life, and he especially loved his Green Bay Packers. Jerry was also an excellent fisherman. He was a kind soul who cared deeply about others, and he loved sparking up random conversations and making people smile.
A small celebration of life for family and close friends will be held this summer.
