Keith was an active member of the community, he was involved with the Boy Scouts of America, and later the St. Germain Lions Club. He was a mentor and inspiration to many and was known for his larger-than-life personality, his kindness and generosity. His inspiration will be missed but never forgotten.
Keith enjoyed hunting, fishing, building models, working on his Willys Jeep and giving back to the community.
Keith is survived by his brother, Darrell (Paula) Slizewski; sister, Nancy (Greg Ratliff) Slizewski; brother-in-law, Roger Williams; son, Michael (Karina) Slizewski; grandson, James Slizewski; surrogate son, Matthew (Oana) Kinney; numerous nieces; nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews. He was also a father and grandfather figure to the Mortag family and a friend to many others.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Gladys Slizewski; son, David Slizewski; daughter, Bridget Slizewski; sister, Peggy Williams.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
