The St. Germain Northwoods Lions Club celebrated Earth Day this year by providing metal art to decorate Sunrise Apartments in St. Germain, opting for durability over fresh flowers. Presenting the art were Nancy Szott, district environmental chair; Karin Jagger; Michael Price; Sue Kessro; Judy Whitaker; and housing director Jason Gruvere. The club also recently honored members for their service, with Sue Kessro receiving Lion of the Year and Marlys Scharf earning the Melvin Jones Award.
