Three Lakes senior Keira Bollmann is a two-sport athlete for the Bluejays. When she ends volleyball in the fall, she also plays soccer in the spring and uses it as something to keep in shape during the offseason.
Outside of her sports obligations, Bollmann enjoys hanging with her friends and family, staying active at the gym and traveling to see places. After she graduates, Bollmann wants to attend a four-year university and major in neuroscience on a pre-med track. Here is more on the Three Lakes senior:
Do you have a nickname that your friends or family call you?
“My mom has always called me Pumpkin.”
Do you participate in any other sports besides volleyball?
“Besides volleyball, I also play soccer. Soccer keeps me in shape during the offseason and allows me to spend time with my friends.”
Do you have a personal goal for the season this year?
“My personal goal for my senior season has been to give every game my all. Volleyball has been a huge part of my life, and this is my last season, so I want to make it count.”
What other hobbies do you have outside of sports?
Favorite vacation spot you’ve been to?
“My favorite vacation spot so far has been Key West, Florida. The weather is always beautiful there, and there is so much to do.”
Do you have a pre-game/meet ritual that helps you?
“Before games, I always try to envision our team playing well and winning! This hypes me up and puts me into a positive mindset for the game.”
Do you have any plans for after high school? College?
“After high school, I plan to attend a four-year university and major in neuroscience on a pre-med track. I do not have any plans to play volleyball or soccer in college.”
