Eighteen paddlers turned out for Sayner's Great Northern Highland Paddle and Portage event last Saturday. They traveled 2 miles across Plum Lake before completing a .43-mile portage through the woods and finishing up with a 1.44-mile paddle across Star Lake. —Staff Photos By MICHELLE DREW
