The No. 2-seeded Northland Pines varsity girls’ soccer team found itself in another regional final game in 2026, where the Eagles eventually dropped a 1-0 heartbreaker to No. 3 Regis at Northland Pines High School Saturday afternoon.
With the loss, Northland Pines finished its season with an overall 13-6-2 record.
Coming into the regional championship game, the Eagles came off a 7-0 win over Amery two days prior, last Thursday, and were riding a six-game win or tie streak dating back to their home quad back in early May. Pines also competed against Regis in that home quad tournament and won the game 2-0, so the Ramblers and Eagles split the season series of games between the two squads.
