Vilas County Sheriff

The Vilas County Sheriff’s Department reported a total of 175 incidents this past week, which included 15 911 hangups, 15 car versus deer accidents, one nonreportable traffic accident, five property damages, one agency assist, five burglary alarms, five ambulance requests, one dog bite, two animal problems, three attempts to locate, one ATV accident, five conditions of bond, 17 citizen assists, one citizen problem, one damage to property, one disorderly conduct, three deer in roadway, three disturbances, one fish and game violation, one domestic violence complaint, three drug problems, 10 sick leaves, one fraud, one internet fraud, one drive off, one natural gas fumes, four harassments, one warrant confirmation, 12 information reports, one intoxicated person, five juvenile problems, one lost property, one missing person, two OWIs, one protection order, two parole violations, two repossessions, two subject removals, two suicide attempts, nine suspicious circumstances, one medication theft, one theft by contract, one threat, seven hazards, five traffic violations, one prisoner transport, one trespass, two unsecure premises, one utility problem, one weapons offense and five welfare checks.
A total of five people were taken into custody and booked into the Vilas County Jail.

Eagle River Police

The Eagle River Police Department reported a total of 22 incidents this past week, which includes two ambulance assists, two animal problems, two citizen assists, three disorderly conducts, one false alarm, one fraud, one information report, two lost or found properties, one missing person, two suspicious persons, one hit and run accident, one traffic accident, two traffic offenses and one welfare check.

A total of one person was taken into custody and booked into the Vilas County Jail.

Three Lakes Police

The Three Lakes Police Department reported a total of 64 incidents this past week, which included one new call, two 911 calls, three accidents, four animal incidents, one citizen assist, one motorist assist, 23 business checks, one child custody, two commitments, three disturbances, four extra patrols, three hazards, three information reports, three parking violations, one warrant pickup, one background check, one search warrant, one suspicious person, one theft, one traffic complaint and three traffic stops.
