The Vilas County Sheriff’s Office reported a total of 333 incidents last week, which included 16 911 hangups, one abandoned snowmobile, two abandoned vehicles, one animal accident, one bicycle accident, two car vs. deer accidents, two hit and run traffic accidents, two personal injury accidents, 10 nonreportable traffic accidents, six property damage accidents, four agency assists, 13 burglary or intrusion alarms, three fire alarms, 38 ambulance requests, one ambulance staging request, one dog bite, six animal problems, two attempts to locate, two battery alarm communications, 10 conditions of bond, 12 citizen arrests, two criminal damages to property, one custodial interference, one deliver message, two disorderly conducts, three dispatching of deer in roadways, three disturbances, 11 drug problems, two emergency detentions, five sick leaves, one fire, two found property calls, two frauds, three harassments, eight warrant/hit confirmations, 23 information reports, two intoxicated persons, one problem in the jail, eight juvenile problems, two lifeline alarms, one power/telephone line down, two lockouts, three lost properties, one noise complaint, one DOC offender release, one drug overdose, one drug or alcohol related OWI, one parking problem, one protection order/injunct entry, four probation or parole violations, two vacation checks, 12 requests for an officer or officer assists, two highway and road condition calls, two search warrants, one lewd and lascivious, one sexual assault, three snowmobile accidents, five snowmobile violations, three snowmobile OWIs, 11 subject removals, three suicide attempts, seven suspicious circumstances, four property or general thefts, two identity thefts, two threats/intimidadate persons, five hazard, sign down or conditions calls, nine traffic violations, one transport hub, two tresspasses to property, three utility problems, one wanted person, two arrest warrants, and 17 welfare checks.
A total of 33 people were taken into custody and booked into Vilas County Jail.
Eagle River Police Department failed to provide an incident report before the press deadline for this week’s publication.
The Three Lakes Police Department reported a total of 100 incidents last week, which included two 911 calls, four ambulance calls, two citizen assists, three motorist assists, 55 business checks one disturbance, eight extra patrol calls, one fire alarm, one hazard, one health and welfare check, one information, three parking tickets/violations, one reckless driving, one scam, one services call, one suspicious circumstances, motor vehicle or person, one theft, 10 traffic stops, one trespassing, and two vehicles in the ditch.
