Vilas County Sheriff

The Vilas County Sheriff’s Department reported 189 CAD calls last week, which included 28 911 hangups, one animal accident, 10 car versus deer accidents, one accident fatality, one hit and run traffic accident, two personal injury accidents, five non-reportable traffic accidents, eight property damage accidents, one agency assist, six burglary alarms, two fire alarms, two ambulance requests, one dog bite, one animal problem, five conditions of bond, one burning, 11 citizen assists, one criminal damage to property, one death investigation, four deer dispatches, four disturbances, two drug problems, five sick leaves, one structure fire, one firearm denial notice, two found property calls, one fraud, two harassments, two warrant/hit confirmations, 18 information reports, two juvenile problems, two lifeline alarms, one official misconduct, one lost/missing person, one noise complaint, one DOC offender release, one drug or alcohol related OWI, three parking problems, one probation violation, two repossessions, three officer requests, one sex offender registration, one lewd and lascivious, one smoke report, nine snowmobile accidents, one stalking complaint, two removed subjects, two suspicious circumstances, two property/general thefts, seven hazards, two traffic violations, one medical jail transport, one juvenile transport, one utility problem and 10 welfare checks.

Four people were taken into custody and booked into the Vilas County Jail last week.

Eagle River Police

The Eagle River Police Department did not submit an incident report before the press deadline of this publication

Three Lakes Police

The Three Lakes Police Department responded to 84 incident types last week, which included three accidents, eight ambulances, two animals, two citizen assists, one motorist assist, one other agency assist, 42 business checks, one domestic, six extra patrols, one fire alarm, one welfare check, two information reports, one narcotics violation, two parking tickets/violations, one property, one reckless driving, one records check, two recreational, one suspicious circumstance, one traffic complaint, two traffic stops, one trespassing and one vehicle in the ditch.
