The Vilas County Sheriff’s Office reported 197 CAD calls last week, which included 17 911 hangups, three car versus deer accidents, two personal injury accidents, six non-reportable traffic accidents, 10 property damage accidents, three agency assists, 19 burglary/intrusion alarms, three fire alarms, four ambulance requests, two animal problems, two locate attempts, four conditions of bond, 10 citizen assists, one communication problem, one request, two death investigations/dead bodies, two deer dispatches, four disturbances, one drug problem, one emergency detention, five sick leaves, two found properties, one fraud, two harassments, eight warrant/hit confirmations, 17 information reports, one intoxicated person, four juvenile problem, one lifeline alarm, four lost properties, one DOC offender release, two drug or alcohol-related OWI, one probation violation, three vacation checks, one lewd and lascivious, nine snowmobile accidents, four snowmobile violations, two removed subjects, two suicude attempts, three suspicious circumstances, two property/general theft, one automobile theft, one threat, six hazards, four traffic violations, two utility problems and 11 welfare checks.
Twelve people were taken into custody and booked into the Vilas County Jail.
The Eagle River Police Department did not submit an incident report before this publication went to press.
The Three Lakes Police Department responded to 72 incident types last week, which included three 911, two accidents, one accident with injuries, three animals, two citizen assists, three motorist assist, 32 business checks, one civil matter, two commitments, six extra patrols, one harassment, one hazard, one welfare checks, one information, one parking ticket, one recreational, two scams, four traffic stops and two vehicles in a ditch.
