The Vilas County Sheriff’s Office reported a total of 259 incidents last week, which included 38 911 hang ups, 12 car versus deer accidents, one personal injury accident, one property damage accident, four agency assists, seven burglary alarms, two fire alarms, seven ambulance requests, one dog bite, two animal problems, three attempts ot locate, three ATV complaints, one violation of bond conditions, six conditions of bond, one burglary, two child abuse reports, 11 citizen assists, one communications problem, one criminal damage to property, one death investigation, three dispatch deer in roadway, five disturbances, three drug problems, one emergency detention, three sick leaves, one fire, one structure fire, two fireworks complaints, three found properties, three frauds, one internet fraud, one drive off, one gas fumes report, one harassment, four warrant confirmations, one no burn permit, 22 information reports, one intoxicated person, one jail problem, two jail medical incidents, one power line down, one litter report, two lost properties, two missing persons, two noise complaints, four OWI, three vacation checks, one officer assist, one lewd and lacivious, one subject removal, 12 suspicious circumstances, three thefts, one theft of medication, one theft by fraud, two threats, 13 hazards, 19 traffic violations, one road rage incident, three tresspasses, two VIN number inspection and 19 welfare checks.
A total of 21 people were taken into custody and booked into the Vilas County Jail.
