Vilas County Sheriff

The Vilas County Sheriff’s Office reported 233 CAD calls last week, which included 35 911 hangups, 10 car versus deer accidents, two non-reportable traffic accidents, three property damage accidents, two agency assists, seven burglary or intrusion alarms, two fire alarms, 12 ambulance requests, two dog bites, three animal problems, one locate attempt, one ATV injury accident, one ATV complaint, one violation of bond conditions, one battery to prisoner, 16 conditions of bond, one burglary, 10 citizen assists, one delivered message, one disorderly conduct, two deer dispatches, five disturbances, one domestic violence complaint, one drug problem, one sick leave, one escort, two found property calls, one fraud, two drive offs, 11 warrant confirmations, 23 information reports, four juvenile problem, one lifeline alarm, one powerline down, two lost properties, one noise complaint, two drug or alcohol-related OWIs, two parking problems, one vacation check, two search warrants, one lewd and lacivious, one removed subject, 17 suspicious circumstances, three property/general thefts, one watercraft theft, one vehicle theft, one threat, five hazards, 19 traffic violations, one warrant transport, one property trespass and four welfare checks.

Eight people were taken into custody and booked into the Vilas County Jail last week.

Eagle River Police

The Eagle River Police Department responded to 45 incidents last week, which included two animal problems, one citizen dispute, one citizen assist, two disorderly conduct incidents, two drug or alcohol DUI, one false alarm, six information reports, five juvenile problems, four lost or found property incidents, one littering incident, one sex offense, two suspicious circumstances, one non-reportable traffic accident, one property damage traffic accident, three traffic hazards, one threat, five traffic offenses, one tresspassing, one theft, one utility problem and three welfare checks. Four people were taken into custody by the department last week and booked into the Vilas County Jail.

Three Lakes Police

The Three Lakes Police Department responded to 82 incident types last week, which included five 911, two accidents, two ambulances, one animal, one citizen assist, two motorist assists, one other agency assist, 46 business checks, four extra patrols, one hazard, one welfare check, one information report, three ordinance violations, one parking ticket, one reckless driving, one recreational, one scam and eight traffic stops.
