Vilas County Sheriff

The Vilas County Sheriff’s Office reported 174 CAD calls last week, which included 16 911 hangups, four car versus deer accidents, one hit and run traffic accident, two non-reportable traffic accidents, two property damage accidents, one agency assist, three burglary alarms, four ambulance requests, five animal problems, one all points broadcast, one locate attempt, one battery, 14 conditions of bond, four citizen assists, one criminal damage to property, one delivered message, one disorderly conduct, five deer dispatches, three disturbances, two domestic violence complaints, right drug problems, 13 sick leaves, one firearm denial notice, four frauds, one harassment, four warrant confirmations, 11 information reports, one injured employee on duty, one jail problem, six juvenile problems, one powerline down, one noise complaint, one drug or alcohol-related OWI, four probation violations, one vacation check, three officer assists, one smoke report, one snowmobile accident, one stalking complaint, two removed subjects, one suicide attempt, five suspicous circumstances, one contract theft, two threats, two hazards, 11 traffic violations, two prisoner transports, two warrant transports, one trespassing call, one utility problem and eight welfare checks.

There were 18 people taken into custody and booked into the Vilas County Jail last week.

Eagle River Police

The Eagle River Police Department responded to 26 incidents last week, which included three medical assists, six citizen assists, one criminal mischief, one alcohol or drug DUI, one information report, one juvenile problem, one parking problem, three suspicious circumstances, one property watch, two traffic offenses, one trespass and two welfare checks. One person was taken into custody and booked into the Vilas County Jail.

Three Lakes Police

The Three Lakes Police Department responded to 57 incident types last week, which included four 911, one alarm, two ambulances, two animals, one citizen assist, 25 business checks, one disturbance, one domestic, six extra patrols, one miscellaneous fire, two hazards, two welfare checks, one information report, one property, two reckless driving incidents, one records check, one suspicious circumstances and three traffic stops.
