Vilas County Sheriff

The Vilas County Sheriff’s Department reported a total of 202 CAD calls last week, which included 14 911 hangups, one animal accident, one bicycle accident, one car versus bobcat accident, three car versus deer accidents, one personal injury accident, three property damage accidents, three agency assists, three burglary alarms, two fire alarms, 13 ambulance requests, one animal noise, one locate attempt, seven conditions of bond, one child abuse or neglect, 19 citizen assists, one computer crime, one criminal damage to property, one death investigation, one defraud inkeeper/restaurant, one delivered message, three disorderly conducts, two deer dispatches, one disturbance, two domestic violence complaints, one drug problem, four sick leaves. Three brush fires, one structure fire, two found property calls, two frauds, three drive-offs, seven warrant/hit confirmations, one no-burn permit, 27 information reports, one injured jail inmate, one employee injured on duty, one intoxicated person, four juvenile problems, one lost property, one DOC offender release, two drug or alcohol-related OWIs, one parking problem, one probation violation, two vacation checks, one officer assists, one runaway juvenile, one sexual assault, thre removed subjects, two suicide attempts, five suspicious circumstances, five property/general theft, one shoplifiting, three threats, five hazards, eight traffic violations, one medical jail transport, three transport warrants, one utility problem and eight welfare checks.

Five people were taken into custody and booked into the Vilas County Jail.

Eagle River Police

The Eagle River Police Department responded to 33 incidents last week, which included one alarm, one medical assist, one animal problem, one attempted burglary, five citizen assists, one disorderly conduct, five information reports, one probation violation, four suspicious circumstances, one non-reportable traffic accident, one property damage traffic accident, seven traffic offenses, one trespassing, one property theft, one utility problem and one welfare check. One person was taken into custody and booked into the Vilas County Jail.

Three Lakes Police

The Three Lakes Police responded to 93 incidents last week, which included six 911, one ambulance, one animal incident, three citizen assists, 45 business checks, seven extra patrols, two miscellaneous fires, one fire alarm, one fraud, one threat, one welfare check, one noise complaint, five ordinance violations, one pickup warrant, one scam, one suspicious circumstance, one theft and 14 traffic stops.
