The Vilas County Sheriff’s Office reported a total of 240 incidents last week which included 29 911 hangups, one animal accident, three car versus deer accidents, two nonreportable traffic accidents, four property damage accidents, three agency assists, eight burglary alarms, ten fire alarms, five ambulance requests, three dog bites, three animal problems, one attempt to locate, one ATV accident, three ATV complaints, 12 conditions of bond, eight citizen assists, one citizen problem, two carbon monoxide alarms, one death investigation, two disorderly conducts, two deer in roadway, seven disturbances, two domestic violence complaints, two drug problems, seven sick leaves, one brush fire, three found property reports, one fraud, one internet fraud, one drive off incident, three harassment reports, nine warrant confirmations, two no burn permits, 27 information reports, one restraining violation, three juvenile problems, one lifeline alarm, two power lines down, one lost property report, two noise complaints, one DOC offender release, one overdose, one OWI, two vacation checks, one repossession, three officer requests, two search warrants, 10 suspicious circumstances, two property thefts, one theft from a vehicle, two identity thefts, two threats, 12 hazards, 11 traffic violations, two road rage incidents, one transport warrant, three tresspasses, two unsecure premises, and nine welfare checks.
A total of 19 people were taken into custody and booked into the Vilas County Jail.
