Vilas County Sheriff

The Vilas County Sheriff’s Department reported 241 CAD calls last week, which included 36 911 hangups, 15 car versus deer traffic accidents, two hit-and-run traffic accidents, four personal injury accidents, two non-reportable traffic accidents, four property damage accidents, one agency assist, eight burglary alarms, four fire alarms, one fake ID, five ambulance requests, one dog bite, one animal noise, two animal problems, three locate attempts, one ATV complaint, one violation of bond conditions, one battery, four conditions of bond, one burglary, one child abuse or neglect, 10 citizen assists, one civil complaint, two criminal damage to property calls, one custodial interference, two disorderly conducts, one deer dispatch, five disturbances, one domestic violence complaint, one drug problem, one emergency detention, three sick leaves, one fire, two frauds, two drive-offs, two harassments, five warrant-hit confirmations, one no-burn permit, 21 information reports, one restraining violation, one injured employee on duty, two juvenile problems, one litter, five lost properties, two lost or missing persons, one noise complaint, one DOC offender release, four drug or alcohol-related OWIs, one probation violation, two vacation checks, one repossession, one runaway juvenile, one removed subject, three suicide attempts, 12 suspicious circumstances, one theft from vehicle, two identity thefts, two threats, four hazards, 14 traffic violations, one court transport, one juvenile transport, one warrant transport, four property trespassing calls, one unsecure premise, one utility problem, one wanted person and nine welfare checks.
Fourteen (14) people were taken into custody last week and booked into the Vilas County Jail.

Eagle River Police

The Eagle River Police Department responded to 27 incidents last week, which included one ambulance or medical assist, one animal problem, two citizen assists, one controlled substance possession, two information reports, three lost or found property incidents, four parking problems, one hit-and-run traffic accident, one non-reportable traffic accident, four property damage traffic accidents, one personal injury traffic accident, one traffic offense, one trespassing incident, one automobile theft and three welfare checks. No one was taken into custody by the Eagle River Police Department last week.

Three Lakes Police

The Three Lakes Police Department responded to 69 incidents last week, which included five 911, one accident, one ambulance, one animal incident, one citizen assist, one other agency assist, 33 business checks, one civil matter, seven extra patrols, one fire alarm, one welfare check, two information reports, one juvenile incident, one noise complaint, one OWI, one parking ticket/violation, one property incident, one background check, one school bus violation, one suspicious circumstance, one theft and five traffic stops.
