Richard “Dick” Donovan Jr.
Richard C. Donovan Jr., “Dick”, age 90, of Eagle River, WI, formerly of Three Lakes and Milwaukee, WI, died on Friday, March 20, 2026.
He was born on September 9, 1935, in Milwaukee the son of Richard Sr., and Leocadia (Schutler) Donovan. He was raised in Milwaukee, WI, and attended school at Messmer High.
On May 5, 1962, Dick was married to Gloria Saylor in Milwaukee.
He worked in the cookware industry during his early career and transitioned to business management in his later career for the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans from which he retired.
Dick enjoyed sports of all kinds, traveling, entertaining and playing golf. He was a member of the American Legion and St.Theresa Catholic Church of Three Lakes.
He was preceded in death by his Wife of 52 years, Gloria.
He is survived by his sons, Richard III and Michael, both of Three Lakes; one grandson, Jacob of Madison, WI,; and other relatives; and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 30, 2026, at St. Peter the Fisherman in Eagle River, visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church.
