Robert "Bob" Moser

Robert Walter Moser, 80, of St. Germain, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, Jan. 3, 2025, at Friendly Village, with his family at his side and under the care of Compassus Hospice of the Northwoods.
Robert was born on May 10, 1944, in Milwaukee, to Walter and Rose (Chopp) Moser. He was raised in Milwaukee, graduating from Messemer High School in 1962. He attended MATC for a time before beginning his employment which would last for thirty years at Briggs and Stratton.
Bob met his future wife Nancy Mehnert while tobogganing with a group of friends. The couple dated for a while and were married on Nov. 14, 1964, in Wauwatosa, Wis., at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The couple lived on the south side of Milwaukee where they began their family.
After retiring at the age of forty-nine, the family moved to the St. Germain area in 1993. Even though Bob retired from his primary job he continued to stay active for many years with driving school bus for Schilleman Bus Service for Northland Pines School District, delivering meals to senior citizens, he also began Bob’s Small Engine Repair. For many years Bob managed the Citgo gas station in St. Germain, and he and Nancy managed the Gresham and Razorback Campgrounds.
Bob enjoyed participating in bowling leagues in Milwaukee, Ixonia, Oconomowoc, Watertown, and Eagle River, trapshooting in Watertown, Wis., getting together with friends to play cards, hunting, fishing, the outdoors, camping, the Green Bay Packers, and visiting with anyone.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Nancy; children, Jeanne (Russ) Krueger of St. Germain, and David Moser of St. Germain; two grandchildren, Jessica (Justin) Luther of White Bear Lake, Minn., and Scott (Kyley) Krueger of Phillips, Wis.; and four great-grandchildren, Isayah, Michael, Emery, and Adella. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Scott Moser at birth, Bobby Moser; and one sister, Carole (Don) Wick.
The visitation for Bob will take place on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at St. Mary Catholic Church, located at 8705 County Hwy. N, Sayner, Wis., from 10:30 -11:00 a.m. Memorial Mass. Fr. Joseph Pasala will officiate.
