Ronald Kristek

Ronald Edward Kristek, a devoted father, beloved friend, and cherished member of the community, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2025, at the age of 71.

Born on November 19, 1953, in Illinois, Ron was a shining light in the lives of those who knew him. As the son of Edward and Bernice Kristek he grew up with strong family values that he carried throughout his life.

Ronald graduated from high school and went on to begin a successful career as the owner of Beach Appliance. He dedicated many years to providing in-home appliance repair services to all those in the area. He did his best every day to help anyone who called, always willing to jump in and lend a helping hand.

A proud father of three daughters, Ron took immense joy in their lives. He taught them compassion, curiosity, and above all, how to find the humor in everything life could throw their way. He loved his family fiercely and he instilled in them the same values of kindness and humor that defined his character.

An outdoorsman at heart, Ron found solace and happiness in nature. Whether he was at the beach soaking in the sun or hiking through deep snow with his dogs, he could always be found outside somewhere. His adventurous spirit led him down many roads. He embraced the unexpected and thrived on new experiences. Ron was a man who lived life on his own terms, he was always running on his own time unapologetically - he encouraged those around him to find joy in the journey.

Ron was known for his infectious humor and the happiness he brought to everyday life. He had a remarkable ability to find laughter in the little things and shared this with everyone he met. His kindness, generosity, and zest for life will be missed but never forgotten.

A memorial service will be at 11am on April 21, 2025, at the Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home, located at 304 E. Division St, Eagle River, WI 54521. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Friends and family are invited to celebrate the life of this extraordinary man.

In a world that often feels hurried and chaotic, Ron Kristek stood out as a reminder of the beauty in kindness, the joy in laughter, and the importance of cherishing every moment. He leaves behind not only his three daughters but also a legacy of love and adventure that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him. Rest in peace, Ron. You will be missed.
