The Sayner-Star Lake Lions have announced that Saturday, Feb. 14, will mark the 25th anniversary of the Plum Lake Ice Fishing Tournament.
Fishing on Plum Lake will begin at 6 a.m. and continue until 2 p.m., with fish registration taking place on the ice adjacent to the Plum Lake Public Pier on the south side of the lake.
An awards ceremony will follow immediately after the tournament at the Sayner Recreation Building. Cash prizes will be awarded for the largest fish in the northern pike, walleye, bluegill, perch and crappie categories, with divisions for both adults and kids.
Tickets are available at the Sayner Pub, Last Cast Bait Shop in St. Germain, the Sayner Shell station and from Lions members. Ticket prices are $30 for adults and $10 for children ages 12 and under.
Several major raffles will be held at the recreation building, with prizes including a freezer full of food, meat trays, K-Drills and more. Door prizes will also be awarded to anglers in both adult and youth categories.
