Sno-Eagles seeking volunteers for snomo trail brushing Oct. 17

Posted

The Sno-Eagles Snowmobile Club is planning a volunteer trail brushing session for Saturday, Oct. 17, to get trails ready for the upcoming snowmobile season.

Volunteers are asked to gather at 8 a.m. at the club’s groomer barn, located on Bluebird Lane in Eagle River.
According to club President Rusty Wolf, this is one of the most important volunteer days of the year. “Every branch cleared and every stretch opened helps ensure smooth, safe, and beautiful riding once the snow flies,” he said.

Brushing goes until about noon, when a thank-you lunch will be served at the groomer barn.

A sign-up is available at snoeagles.org, but Wolf notes that if there are no open spots listed volunteers should attend anyways as the sign-up is to help with future planning.

For the most up-to-date information, follow the club on Facebook or sign up for its newsletters.
