The Three Lakes Lions Club invites local families and organizations to join in the Halloween fun at Cy Williams Park for Trunk-or-Treating on Thursday, Oct. 31, starting at 5 p.m.
The park, located at 1704 Superior St. in downtown Three Lakes, will be transformed with festive decorations for the event.
Participants will park their vehicles in the park’s lot, decorating their trunks with Halloween scenes like pumpkin patches and monsters, and distributing candy to children as they walk from car to car. Park Street, adjacent to the park, will be closed to traffic for the event.
In addition to candy, the Lions Club will offer games for children. A costume parade will take place around the park at 6 p.m., with judges selecting winners.
The Three Lakes Police Department will assist families crossing the street from St. Theresa’s Church, where additional parking will be available.
Children in costume can also enjoy free hot dogs from Pi Pizza Co., located across the street from the park.
For more Halloween fun, the original Ghostbusters movie will be shown at 7 p.m. at the Three Lakes Center for the Arts Theatre, with free admission and popcorn for children in costume.
