Three Lakes Lions Club to host zone meeting

Posted

The Three Lakes Lions Club is hosting a zone meeting Nov. 14 at 5 p.m. at the Reiter Center in Three Lakes.

Zone Chair Lion Hollie Larkin, who belongs to Three Lakes Lions Club, said, “This meeting will be an informational meeting where you will hear from District and state representatives for the Lions Club.”

A Lions Clubs International zone meeting, also known as a District Governor Advisory Committee meeting, is a forum for club officers to exchange ideas and learn about programs and initiatives. Zone meetings are considered to be very important for club officers.

Larkin also commented that for the meeting, Past International Director Lee Vrieze and his partner in service, Lion Mary Vrieze, will talk about Lions Club International.

In addition, past District Governor Judy Hatz, representing the Wisconsin Lions Eye Bank and Past District Governor Roger Weber will discuss the Wisconsin Lions Foundation.

All are welcome to learn and ask questions about the organization. Lions from the area and people interested in serving their community are encouraged to attend.

Contact Hollie Larkin if you are interested in attending at 715-891-6226 or email hollielions3lks@gmail.com.
