Three Lakes pickleball tournament set this weekend

Posted

Pickleball enthusiasts of all ages will head to Three Lakes this Saturday and Sunday, July 12-13, for the 11th annual Three Lakes pickleball tournament, scheduled at Don Burnside Park.

Each year, over 150 players travel from all over Wisconsin and other states to come to Three Lakes to play in the event. Players of all skill levels are invited to play in the tournament.

As of July 6, organizers say 167 players have registered, but the number will shift due to late additions or cancellations.

There will again be three separate divisions this year, with the men's and women's doubles playing Saturday, and mixed doubles hitting the court Sunday, with play starting at 9 a.m. each day. The tournament is a round-robin with a mini-playoff format for the top teams.

The women’s division has 24 teams in three divisions, the men’s division has 37 teams in five divisions and the mixed teams have 42 pairs in six divisions.

New to 2025 is the addition of having two assigned courts for each division on both days for faster play. Spectators are welcome to attend the festivities for free.

The Three Lakes Pickleball Club is a non-profit, community-focused club. The goal of the club is to create a positive play experience for all ability levels.  Proceeds from the tournament will be used to make improvements to the pickleball courts and facility in Three Lakes.
