Toni Anderson Estes

Toni Anderson Estes, age 85, a 35-year resident of Eagle River, WI, died on Monday October 12, 2026, at her home. She was born in Toledo, OH on April 16, 1941, to Harold and Mary (nee Petok) Anderson.

With her husband Jim, Toni was owner and operator of Estes Resort in Tennessee and Sunset Shores Resort in Three Lakes. Toni was outgoing and had a quietly rich sense of humor. She was well known for her cooking in and around the community, often providing the Eagle River Police Department with enough Hungarian dishes and sweets to feed an army during special events and holidays. She was an avid lover of the outdoors and found Wisconsin’s Northwoods to be heaven on earth.

Toni was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 63 years, Jim Estes; and granddaughter, Heather.

She is survived by her children, Jim (Cindy) Estes of Tallahassee, FL, Debi Riley of Eagle River, WI, Michael (Tina) Estes of Louisa, VA; sister Diane Arnold of Toledo Ohio; 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
