Up North Beerfest set this weekend

The annual Up North Beerfest returns to Hi-Pines Campground in Eagle River this Friday and Saturday, June 13–14.

Hosted by the Eagle River Area Chamber of Commerce, the weekend kicks off with Premier Beer Night on Friday, from 6 to 8 p.m. The evening offers an exclusive tasting experience featuring specialty selections from 13 of the 26 participating breweries. These unique brews will not be available during Saturday’s main event.

Premier Beer Night will also feature a pulled pork dinner, live entertainment by the band Hijinx, and a commemorative sampling glass. Tickets are $90 and must be purchased online at upnorthbeerfest.com.

The main event takes place on Saturday, June 14, from 2 to 6 p.m. Attendees will receive a souvenir glass and can sample 2- to 3-ounce pours from 26 regional craft breweries. Hijinx will return to the stage to provide live music throughout the afternoon.

Local favorites such as Tribute Brewing Company and Riverstone Brewing will be joined by returning breweries including Fox River Brewing, Bare Bones Brewery, and Some Nerve Brewing. Newcomers this year include Eagle Park Brewery, Mosinee Brewing Co., and Public Brewing. A full list of participating breweries is available on the festival website.

Advance tickets for Saturday’s event are $60 and available online, at the Eagle River Chamber of Commerce, Tribute Brewing Company, and Trig’s Cellar 70 Liquor Department.

Tickets will be $70 at the gate, until sold out.

This is a 21-and-over event. No children or pets will be admitted.
