Annual pickleball tournament returns to Three Lakes

Registration deadline is June 30

Posted

It’s time for pickleball enthusiasts to get their rackets out as the 11th annual Three Lakes pickleball tournament is scheduled at Don Burnside Park the weekend of July 12-13, with organizers asking anyone interested in playing to register by Monday, June 30.

Each year, over 150 players travel from all over Wisconsin and other states to come to Three Lakes to play in the event. Players of all skill levels are invited to play in the tournament.

There will again be three separate divisions this year, with the men's and women's doubles playing Saturday, and mixed doubles hitting the court Sunday, with play starting at 9 a.m. each day. Spectators are welcome to attend the festivities for free.

Players interested in entering will have until the end of the month to register their teams.

The price is $30 per person, and $10 extra to play in a second event. Registration options include online and paying tournament fees with Venmo, or filling out the registration and waiver forms and sending them through the mail with a check.

More information about online or mail-in registration can be found at ThreeLakesPickleball.org.

The Three Lakes Pickleball Club is a non-profit, community-focused club. The goal of the club is to create a positive play experience for all ability levels.  Proceeds from the tournament will be used to make improvements to the pickleball courts and facility in Three Lakes.
