Logan and Kelsey Croker of Eagle River have been named the winners of the Feed Our Rural Kids’ (FORK) $5,200 Grocery Raffle.
As the winner of FORK’s Grocery Raffle, the Crokers have opted to receive their $5,200 worth of free food from Trig’s in Eagle River.
Lynn Kenning, chairperson of the fundraising effort, reflected FORK’s excitement that the raffle’s prize will stay local.
“It’s great that the prize money stays here in the Northwoods, but even better that it was won by a young couple and their daughter. Congratulations to the Croker family.”
Logan is an account manager with The Rabenn Agency – State Farm in Eagle River, as well as a volunteer firefighter with the Eagle River Fire Department. His wife, Kelsey, is a registered nurse with Aspirus Howard Young in Minocqua.
“When we bought the raffle ticket, we never expected to win,” said Logan. “We just wanted to support the good work FORK was doing within our community.
“Having grown up in the Northwoods, I have seen firsthand the economic challenges faced by many families. To those kids, FORK makes a difference.”
Kenning concluded, “We want to thank everyone who bought a raffle ticket and especially to 40 local businesses who made the extra effort to sell those tickets.”
