A new research tool that allows someone to look through the Eagle River Historical Society’s (ERHS) photograph archive will be launched and available for public use starting Wednesday, Dec. 11.
The ERHS has been developing this tool since May 2024.
On Dec. 11, the ERHS will be unveiling this project to the public, explaining how the tool works, who the project partners are and how neat it is that anyone can now search through the society’s thousands of historic images.
The unveiling will have two sessions at the Walter E. Olson Library. The first session will be from 3 - 3:45 p.m. and the second session will be from 5 - 5:45 p.m.
Those who will be in attendance are encouraged to bring a laptop, tablet or another online device.
For any questions or more information, contact the ERHS at info@eagleriverhistory.org.
