“No nickname-- I just go by Tucker.”
Do you participate in any other sports besides football?
“I run track to stay fast and competitive. During the off-season, my focus shifts to the weight room to build strength, stay healthy and prepare for the next season.”
Is there a personal goal you had on the field this year?
“My biggest goal this year is to minimize errors and play clean, disciplined football. As a team captain, I want to be a strong leader who lifts everyone around me up. Ultimately, it’s all about helping us build strong team chemistry so we can make the playoffs and succeed together.”
What other hobbies do you have outside of sports?
“Outside of playing sports, I’m really interested in nutrition, healthy eating and weightlifting to stay in peak shape. When I want to relax, I love watching sports, going snowboarding and taking on outdoor adventures. Most of all, I just enjoy quality time hanging out with my friends and family.”
Favorite vacation spot that you’ve been to?
“My favorite vacation spot is definitely going on spring break cruises. A recent favorite was a cruise where we stopped in the Dominican Republic to go waterfall hiking and cliff jumping, and then visited the Virgin Islands to go snorkeling with stingrays and tropical fish.”
Do you have a pregame ritual that helps you before your games?
“My routine starts the night before by eating plenty of carbs and staying hydrated. Before kickoff, I rely on a BodyArmor Flash I.V. and energy gels to make sure I’m fueled up. I listen to hype music on my way to the locker room to get energized, and then I mentally prepare by visualizing making big plays and getting the win.”
Do you have any plans for after high school? College?
“My goal after high school is to major in business with an emphasis on fitness and well-being. Sports have been a huge part of my life, so I definitely want to continue playing at the club or intramural level while focusing on my college degree and future career.”
