Orchestra Woodland Strings to perform two free concerts

Local orchestra Woodland Strings will present two free concerts this July.

The first will take place on Sunday, July 27, at 5:30 p.m. at the Riverview Park Bandshell in Eagle River. Sponsored by the Warehouse Arts Center, the event invites attendees to “bring a chair, bug spray, and your dancing shoes and enjoy a free night of public art.”

The second concert will be held Tuesday, July 29, at 7 p.m. at the Three Lakes High School Auditorium, part of the Three Lakes Historical Society and Museum’s summer concert series.

Woodland Strings has grown over the years from a quartet into a small orchestra featuring talented local musicians. Their performances span a wide range of styles, from Bach to the Beatles.
