Our Savior Lutheran Church presenting ‘The Glory of Christmas’ Cantata this weekend

“The Glory of Christmas – Celebrating Christ’s Birth,” a cantata written and arranged by Lloyd Larsen, will be presented at Our Savior Lutheran Church on Saturday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m., and again on Sunday, Dec. 8, at 10 a.m.
The cantata is free and open to the public at 223 Silver Lake Road in Eagle River. Refreshments will be available following the Saturday evening performance.
The Our Savior festival choir, bell choir, and Woodland Strings will be joined by vocalists and instrumentalists from Wausau, including director Joel Freiberg. The cantata uses a blend of familiar lyrics and melodies, coupled with original music by Lloyd Larson.
Cantata organizer and accompanist Marlene Rieck shared, “We are excited to bring together vocalists and instrumentalists for this new cantata. Please join us as we share the Christmas message in a fresh new way and celebrate the coming of Jesus, the Savior of the world.”
