Photos: Firetruck Day

FIRETRUCK DAY — Last week, the Land O’ Lakes Public Library hosted a Firetruck Storytime featuring stories read by the library’s Karen Weber-Mendham and a visit from real-life firefighter Brad Knaack, assistant fire chief of the Land O’ Lakes Fire Department. Children got an up-close look at the department’s firetruck as Knaack demonstrated the controls, the new fire tender, and the remote front-mounted water cannon. -Photos By Bob Hughes
